Reservation of Travel Money Services

Our online services, including reservation of foreign currency, Forex Travel Cards, and Outward Money Transfer services (collectively, "Travel Money"), are offered through partnering RBI-approved money-changing outlets. These services are available to Indian residents aged 18 years or above for personal use related to travel, education, or medical purposes. Services cannot be used for speculative or investment purposes.

Placing an Order

Orders can be placed via our Website or mobile app. Users must ensure that order details are complete and accurate. Payments are collected at the time of order collection, and no online payment is required during the reservation process.

Exchange Rates: Rates displayed online are real-time and subject to fluctuation. Users may receive the prevailing rate at the time of order collection if it is more favorable than the rate displayed at the time of booking.

ExTravelMoney reserves the right to:

• Request additional information to comply with regulations.
• Decline or cancel any order without prior notice.

A contract is formed only when users receive a confirmation email from ExTravelMoney. Users should retain this email for reference.

Collecting Your Forex

Orders can only be collected by the person named on the order at the specified partner location. Users must provide valid identification (passport or PAN card) and any additional documents required under anti-money laundering regulations. Verification of order details and currency must be completed at the time of collection. Claims made after leaving the store will not be entertained.

Liability

ExTravelMoney shall not be liable for:

• Delays caused by incomplete or inaccurate information.
• Changes in currency availability or exchange rates.
• Losses arising from the misuse of the Website or its services.

User Responsibility for Compliance

Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of the Website and its services complies with applicable local, national, and international laws. This includes adhering to regulations under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) of India. Non-compliance may result in penalties, and ExTravelMoney disclaims liability for user misconduct.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of the Website or services will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Ernakulam, Kerala.

Promotions

By accepting these updated Online Terms and Conditions, you authorise us to communicate with you periodically regarding our services (beyond the primary Service), including but not limited to special offers, discounts, promotions, operational updates, and new services.

Your Right to Cancel

You may cancel your order at any time before collection by contacting us at care@extravelmoney.com, as specified in your confirmation email. If you fail to cancel your order and do not collect it from the vendor location within 24 hours of the scheduled collection time, your order will be marked as non-collected.

Corrections and Complaints

If you need to amend your order after clicking the “Place Order” button on the order details screen, please contact the ExTravelMoney team or the partnering location listed in your confirmation email.

Third-Party Rights

When you place an order for Foreign Exchange or Money Transfer Services, we enter into a contract with you directly. These terms do not confer benefits or rights to enforce them to any third party.

Limiting Our Liability

All content and services on or available through the Website are provided on an "as is" basis. ExTravelMoney makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, suitability, reliability, completeness, performance, freedom from viruses, or timeliness of the Website’s content or services. These services are intended for holiday or business travellers or individuals/companies making foreign currency payments and are not designed for speculation or investment purposes.
We are not liable for:

• Incorrect information provided by you during the order process.
• Inability to fulfil obligations due to technical failures, natural disasters, or other reasons beyond our reasonable control.
• Damage to your computer equipment arising from the use of the Website or Service.
• Loss of information or data misuse resulting from encryption below recommended levels.
• Indirect or consequential losses, claims, or damages arising from Website use or inability to use the Service.

Our maximum liability for each Travel Money order is limited to refunding the purchase price of that order. These limitations do not affect your statutory rights or damages arising from death or personal injury caused by ExTravelMoney’s negligence.

Foreign Exchange Transactions

• The exchange rate in your Forex estimate is valid only if you visit the partnering location before the estimate’s expiry time. After 4:00 PM, a new exchange rate will apply on the next working day.
• Payment methods include NEFT, and RTGS, with the release of Forex products subject to fund realisation in the partnering service agent’s bank account. All transactions are subject to KYC and FEMA compliance. Non-compliance may result in order rejection.
• ExTravelMoney is not responsible for discrepancies arising from transactions or communications with partnering service agents.

Alteration of Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or withdraw the Website, Service, or these terms with immediate effect for future orders. Revised terms will be posted on the Website, and continued use of our services indicates acceptance of these changes.

Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Disputes will be resolved in Indian courts.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against all claims, damages, and liabilities arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of the Website.

Order Compliance

• All orders are subject to regulatory compliance. Deviations will be your responsibility.
• Delivery or pickup is restricted to areas covered by partnering money changers.
• Orders are not designed to contravene FEMA 1999 regulations or any related guidelines.
• Orders will be executed at the blocked rate only if full payment and documents are submitted within the specified timeframe.
• Forex delivery will occur within 24-48 business hours of payment and document submission.

Disclaimers

ExTravelMoney does not guarantee resolution of disputes between users and service providers. Users must address grievances with the issuing bank or financial institution. ExTravelMoney is not liable for non-performance or discrepancies by service providers.

Communication and Data Usage

By using our service, you authorise ExTravelMoney and its partnering service providers to communicate with you via direct calls, email, or SMS for service updates or marketing purposes. User data may be shared with third parties to fulfil orders.

Taxes and GST

• Foreign Exchange transactions are subject to applicable GST/SGST, as per Government of India regulations:
• 0.18% for amounts up to ₹1,00,000 (minimum ₹45).
• ₹180 + 0.09% for amounts exceeding ₹1,00,000 and up to ₹10,00,000.
• ₹990 + 0.018% for amounts exceeding ₹10,00,000 (maximum ₹10,800).
• Forex service providers will charge applicable GST/SGST, and ExTravelMoney will strive to update any amendments on the Website promptly.

General Provisions

• Users are prohibited from using scrapers, bots, or any automated tools to access Website content.
• Impersonation, sharing false data, or interfering with Website functionality is strictly prohibited.
• Users must comply with applicable IT, Exchange Control, AML, and FEMA laws.
• ExTravelMoney is not liable for misuse or unauthorised access to data caused by third-party actions.

Referral Terms & Conditions

• Referral commission is credited upon referring a NEW customer to ExTravelMoney.com (No previous orders with us, not referred by anyone else previously)
• The Coupon Code is valid once per user.
• The coupon is applicable only on transactions above Rs 3 Lakh.
• The discount amount received on applying the Coupon Code depends on the transaction volume. Higher the volume, higher the discount.
• Referral commission will be directly credited to your bank account once it reaches Rs 1500, on the 15th of the next month.
• Referral commission will not be provided when doing self-referrals or referring direct family members who are doing remittance transactions to the same beneficiary. However, the discount from Coupon Code will be applicable.
• ExTravelMoney reserves the right to cancel, discontinue, prematurely withdraw, change, suspend, terminate, alter or modify the Referral Program at our sole discretion at any time and the same shall be binding on the participants. Furthermore, ExTravelMoney reserves the right to disqualify/revoke any participants of the Referral Program including but not limited to in cases of fraudulent/ suspicious activities/not following the Terms and conditions of the program.
