How to Pay Your Australia University Fee from India?

Here is how you can pay your Australia university fee from India.

  • Enter the amount in AUD, choose the purpose as 'University/College Fee Payment' and get rates.
  • Compare the exchange rates and choose a bank or RBI approved exchange house of your choice.
  • You can now share the required KYC documents for verification. Once verified, transfer the amount to the processing bank as NEFT/RTGS.
  • Wire transfer will now be initiated and the university will get the credit in the next 1-2 working days.

Documents Required for Tuition Fee Payments to Australia

  • University Letter/Prospectus showing the fee amount
  • Indian Passport Copy of the Student
  • ID proof of the sender (Aadhar/Driving Licence/Voters ID/Passport)
  • PAN Card of the sender

    • The sender can be the student or his/her parents.

University Account Details to be Shared:

  • University/College Account Number, Bank Name & Address.
  • SWIFT Code & Transit Code.
  • University/College Name & Address.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much time will it take for the university to receive my fee?

It takes one day for KYC verification & customer id creation at the bank. You can transfer the funds on the next day before 2 pm. The university will receive the funds within the next 48 working hours.

What is the proof that the fee has been paid?

The SWIFT copy(wire transfer receipt) contains all the transaction details including sender & beneficiary details, transaction amount, swift message(if any) etc. You will get the SWIFT copy as email on the next day of transfer.

How to include my admission number/student reference number along with the payment?

There is a provision to include a SWIFT message along with the transfer. You can include the admission number/student reference number as SWIFT message. Universities normally advise students to include these details to identify the payment correctly.

I have taken an educational loan. Can I still use ExTravelMoney?

Yes, you can. You can inform the bank which provided the loan that you want to transfer the amount on your own.
